3. SET UP OF NEW 1ST TOUCH APPLICATION GUIDE

Allow around 30 to 45 minutes for this process. It is recommended that this is carried out on Wi-Fi, rather than mobile data.

1. Set up 1st Touch - Click OK.



2. Click on "Server" at bottom centre of screen.



3. Enter Setting as below. Press Test Connection.



4. A success message will appear. Press OK.



5. Enter username (SC****/PAYE****) and password (Handheld1)



6. An authentication message will appear as below. Press OK. Then press < Tasks



Now, resources need to be updated:

7. Click the icon in the bottom right (circled)



8. Click "Check Resources"



9. Click Update in the bottom right corner (circled)



10. The resources will begin to download. This will take approximately 30 minutes.(It may slow down at around 40% and again around 70%, but will start up again.)



11. When finished, the below message will appear.



The screens below may appear when updating. This is not an issue. This indicates that the security certificate is waiting to be updated. There is nothing that needs to be done at this time.
